Carol was born on May 4, 1936 in Sutton, Nebraska to Irene and John Klein and graduated from Sutton High in 1954. She had a passion for country music that led her to Nashville in 1961. In April 1965, she married the love of her life, Albert Rowell. They made their home together in Goodlettsville, Tennessee and had 3 children.
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Albert Rowell; children Carrie Kissner, Jay Rowell, and Hank Rowell; grandchildren Cassandra Rowell and Hunter Kissner; great grandson Cory James; sister Diane Fullam; brother John Klein; and dear friend Jesse Lee Jones (Cavalcanti). She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Klein and brother James Charles Klein.
Private service will be held on January 29, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol's name to the Nashville Musicians Association Crisis Assistance Fund.
