Celia Price Patterson of Madison, TN, 98, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2016. Born in New Hope, Pennsylvania Tuesday, October 30, 1917, she is preceded in life's journey by her parents, Carroll Bernard and Edith Mitchener Price; and husband, William D. Patters.
Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker, but held a Bachelor's Degree from Swarthmore University in Pennsylvania; was secretary at the Windlands in Madison. Her fondest hobby was dancing.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Edward) Fowler; sons, John (Donna) Patterson, Philip (Sandra) Patterson; grandchildren, Ashley Turgon, Clay (Lori) Fowler, Todd (Shannon) Patterson, Holly Brickles, Justin Patterson, Chris (Jenn) Patterson, Natasha (Jeff) Fincher, Chara (Rob) Regg; great-grandchildren, Clay Edward Fowler, IV, Kamry and Price Patterson, Bryson and Ellie Brickles, Dawson Chapman, CJ Patterson, Celia and Lucia Fincher;
A Celebration of life will be conducted 2:30 PM Friday, February 5, 2016 at Donelson Presbyterian Church 2305 Old Lebanon Road Nashville, TN 37214
