

Clara's work experience included being a set dresser (drapes, table clothes, etc.); she coordinated clothing for catalog layouts, still photography, films and television. She was a buyer, seamstress and dresser working on television series: Hee Haw; Nashville Palace, Candid Camera and Cook & Chase; television specials: Country Star Search, CMA Awards, Country Comes Home, New York Shakespeare Special, Resurrection of Lady Laster, Concrete Cowboys and Nashville Palace; theatre performance of Ice Capades, Chorus Line, Elephant Man, LA Cage aux Folles and Cats; battets: Nutcracker and the movie Coal Miner's Daughter.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Teddy) Adams, Cathy (Joe) Weaver and Connie (John) Allison; grandchildren, Tara (Tony) Milliken, Tiffany (Jon) Zwart, Brennan (Chandler) Allison, Hunter (Lauren) Allison, Keaton Allison, Cobey Allison; great-grandchildren, Trevor Milliken, Trenton Milliken, Tayton Milliken, Tucker (Carly) Milliken, Tristen Milliken, Taylor Milliken, Sydney Zwart, Kate Zwart and Cooper Zwart; brother, Charles (Virginia) Singer.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Franklin at a visitation Saturday, August 10, 2024 from 4:00 to 7:00 Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 1:00 until 2:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home .
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024 fat 2:00 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Smith officiating.
Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Brennan Allison, Hunter Allison, Keaton Allison, Cobey Allison, Trevor Milliken, Trenton Milliken, Tayton Milliken, Tucker Milliken; honorary pallbearer will be Cooper Zwart.
