Dorothy Ruth Collier, age 85, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015. Born Friday, March 28, 1930 in Madison, TN, she is preceded in death by her parents, Kate and Charlie Morgan; husband of 60 years, James W. Ralph Collier; brother, Robert Morgan; sister, Lucy Shelton; son-in-law, Johnny Barnes.
Mrs. Collier is survived by her children, Doug (Kathy) Collier, Dean Barnes, Cliff (Pat) Collier, Donna (Darryl) Wilson, Debbie (Bill) Henderson; brother, Dallas Morgan; sisters, Barbara Jenkins, Glenda Bishop; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted 12:00 Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Alan Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather at a visitation today, Monday, May 11, 2015 from 2:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn 1150 S. Dickerson Rd. Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
