

Born December 4, 1919 to Russell Edward and Mary Florence (Buford) Woody. She was predeceased by her older sister Ada Mai Bass and brother in law Norman Bass.
Also, her husband, Harry Martin Craddock Jr. to whom she was married 55 years.
3) Survived by: daughter-Mary Alice (Craddock) Hunt and son-in-law Robert David Hunt; grandson-Adam Robert Hunt and wife, Andrea Lea (Godfrey) Hunt; granddaughter-Mary Katherine (Hunt) Brown and husband, Joey Brown; great-grandchildren: Aaron, Austin, Ethan, and Wyatt Hunt; Josiah, Carpenter, Sadie Eloise, Anna Kate Brown. Sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews and lots of friends!
Eloise retired from the Baptist Sunday School Board after 30-plus years as editorial assistant and proofreader. After her retirement, all proofreading was sent to computers for grammar and spelling corrections.
She taught adult and children's Sunday School classes for many years.She loved music, played piano for her church, loved to read and easily made new friends. Most of all she loved her Lord Jesus!
In the words of her granddaughter, "Eloise Craddock graced the earth with her bright light for 97 years. She has now breathed her last. Those who knew her fell in love with her right away. She loved laughter, people and Jesus. She took her coffee black, her bacon crispy and her sweets plentiful! She was ready to go though we were not ready to say goodbye. "z
