Everett N. Rice

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Overstreet (Jimmy); son, David Rice (Kaye); grandchildren, Stacy Dampier (Edwin), Jason Davis (Becky), Mandy Terrell, Kristi Moon, Thomas Rice, Wendy Speck (Chris); great-grandchildren, Aiden Colton Tyler, Kaylin Maddie Emma, Morgan Katie, and Jacob; daughter-in-law, Paula Rice; brother, Tom Rice. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife of sixty-nine years, Sarah Martha (Jennings) Rice; parents, Thomas Haggard and Olive Elizabeth (Sanders) Rice; son, Larry Rice; brother, Herbert Rice.

Mr. Rice served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the VFW and retired from Ford Glass Plant. He cherished his family and had a love for the Lord. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville.

A visitation for Everett will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 AM.
