Gloria P. Dorris

Gloria P. Dorris, age 86, of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Gloria was born Sunday, September 6, 1936 in Nashville, Tennessee. Preceding her in death are her parents, Tollie and Nellie Briley Phipps; husband of 57 years, Will Roger Dorris; son, Roger Dale Dorris; brothers, Billy, Ralph, Paul and Vernon Phipps.

A member of Victory Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, Mrs. Dorris is survived by her sons, Philip Wayne (Kitty) Dorris, Jason Travis (Dana) Dorris; 7 grandchildren 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva Scott, Reba Fowler and Glenna Foster. She enjoy working in her yard, doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking and her church.

A visitation for Gloria will be held Monday, March 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane, Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 PM with Bro. Chuck Groover officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville.

Serving as active pallbearers are Aaron Dorris, Matt Gatica, Mark Scott, Greg Lay, Trevor Dorris Kyler Gatica; Honorary will be Clifton Garrett and Matthew Wayne Dorris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122
