Jim was a loving father and brother. A true Tennessee outdoorsman, Jim enjoyed boating, bass fishing, hunting, four-wheeling, and loved the numerous dogs he cared for during his lifetime. Jim grew up working with the horses at his family-owned riding stables, Happy Hollow (Whites Creek, TN).
He dedicated his life’s career to trucking, automobile, and airplane mechanics. He is survived by his two beloved children, daughter Laura Lea and son James Lucas “Luke” Cobb; grandson Brody; sister Connie Cobb Balthrop; brother Jack Cobb; and loyal dog Stella. Jim lived in White House, Tennessee, for the latter portion of his life and was well-known in the community.
He will be greatly missed.
