James “Harold” Vaughn, age 91, passed away peacefully at Alvin C. York Veterans Hospital under the care of the devoted hospice staff. Preceded by his wife Helen B. Vaughn; his parents John and Carrie Della Vaughn; and his 11 siblings. Survived by his 3 daughters Cindy Jones and husband Morris, Jayme Pierce and husband Mike, Gina Hutson and husband Mark; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Ron Hertzka, Nate Hertzka, Ben Hill, Brandon Hill, Luke Hutson, Austin Swayze, and Kaleb Swayze will serve as Pallbearers. He was a decorated Veteran of World War II prior to pursuing his career as a well-respected Brick/Block Mason. He played a major role in the early construction of downtown Nashville and surrounding areas. He was also a dedicated Christian that put his faith and family first while serving as an elder of Northside Church of Christ for many years. During his life he influenced and changed the lives of many; he will be greatly missed.
