Janis Carol Loyd passed on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the age of 84. Born Sunday, March 15, 1942, in McKenzie, Tennessee, Janis lived in White Bluff, Tennessee. Preceded in death by her father, Quincy Burrow and mother, Novacine Laws Burrow Scott; son, Jackie Loyd; sisters, Brenda Taylor and Diane Corbitt.
A funny sarcastic woman, always making people laugh up to the end; loving, caring, very independent, loved Elvis, enjoyed her Dr. Pepper, and loved having the family together.
Janis is survived by her daughters, Tiesa (Barry) York, Lisa Giles, Teresa Taylor; sons, Lee Loyd and Bobby Loyd; brother, Ricky Scott; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all that had the privilege of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
