Jean Weaver

Jean Weaver, age 93, of Hendersonville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. Jean was born Wednesday, May 27, 1931 in Pleasant Shade, Tennessee, she is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Weaver; parents, George and Clara Wakefield; siblings, Vernon Wakefield, Opal Sutton, Billy Wakefield and George Wakefield, Jr.

Jean retired from Tennessee Christian Hospital after 25 years; she loved her family and to cook; famous for her creamed corn and chocolate pies; working in the yard and flower garden. She enjoyed watching football and was an Atlanta Braves fan.

Jean is survived by her sons, Doug (Linda) Weaver, Don (Reba) Weaver; grandchildren, Justin Weaver, Josh (Amanda) Weaver, Paige (Scott) Lee, Jessica (Brian Evans) Weaver; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sister, Martha (Bill) Fry.

Family and friends will gather to remember Jean at a visitation Wednesday, May 7, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 10:00 until 12:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

A celebration of life will will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM. in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Fry and Bro. Eugene Butler officiating.

Burial will follow in the Garden of The Last Supper at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Josh Weaver, Justin Weaver, Brian Evans, Scott Lee, Bob Sutton, Charles Dukes, Billy Wakefield, Paul Fitzgerald ;and Sprigg Ebbert.
