Joe A. Crowder - age 79 of Goodlettsville. Joe was born Sunday, May 7, 1933 in Hampshire, TN to the late Robert E. Sr. and Drucilla Curmley Crowder; he was also preceded in death by sisters, Katherine Brooks, Lucille Curry, Opal Holden and Edna Ward; brother, Eugene Gordon.
Joe passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013. He is survived by his lovely wife of 40 years, Mary Frances Pullen Crowder; daughters, Kathy (Ronnie) Rivers and Jeannie (Jim) Gulley; grandchildren, Amy (Erik) Baeder and Ashley (Benny) Moore; great-grandchildren, Logan Baeder and Briley Moore; brother, Robert E. (Helen) Crowder; sisters, Doris (Roy) Dye and Nadine (Herman) Gross.
Joe was a supervisor at Washington Manufacturing Company for many years. After his retirement he enjoyed refinishing furniture. He was a member of Bethal Church of Christ.
A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2013 at Forest Lawn with Gavin Clayburn officiating.
Interment to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hampshire, TN.
