

OGG, Joe WillardAge 74 of Nashville, went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Emmett and Della Ogg; and granddaughter, Lynzi Lafferty. Survived by loving wife, Linda Ogg; sons, Larry Lafferty, Jr., Barry Lafferty (Sarah Jenkins), and Patrick Sisk (Brittany Larzelere); grandson, Noah Lafferty; granddaughter, Hannah Vincent; brothers, Wayne Ogg and Bobby Ogg; sisters, Dorothy Nell Ogg, Marion Ogg, Ludell Bourne, and Patsy Herron; and many nieces and nephews. Joe served his country in the United States Air Force and served the citizens of Metro Davidson County as a Police Officer for over 42 years. He will be remembered for his love of life, his love for his country, his love for his family, and his love of football and flying airplanes. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life service will be held in his honor on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Northside Church of Christ, 1375 Old Hickory Blvd., officiated by his son, Patrick Sisk, Bro. Leslie Chapman, and Bro. Stan Cunningham. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers will consist of family and friends. The family will receive friends at the church today from 3-7 p.m., on Sunday 1-4 p.m., and again 2 hrs prior to the service on Monday.
