She is preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Perry and son, Glenn Perry.
She is survived by her four children, Patricia McConnell, Becky Pitt, Phillip Perry and Jenny Gentry; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren who loved her with all their hearts. She is also survived by a brother, Max Frazier and her loving sister, Carolyn Hall.
She was a member of the Goodlettsville Church of Christ for over 50 years. She loved and served her family until the very end. Her generosity and kindness was known to all. She was a servant beyond measure. She loved and cared for her home where she lived for 56 years. Her neighbors knew her because she loved to visit and help them in any way she could.
She enjoyed fishing, serving, reading and playing cards with her friends.
She was the best example to her family in the way she lived and treated others. She cared for her family as well as other family and friends that needed a place to stay and feel loved.
She worked hard every single day of her life whether it was caring for grandchildren, to mowing her yard. Her hands were never idle.
She will be missed not only as a mother but as our best friend.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home.
We would like to thank the precious angels from Adoration Hospice for their help and kindness during the last few days..
In lieu of flowers we think she would say just do something for somebody expecting nothing in return.
