Krystal Hester-Boates, age 40, passed away on March 6, 2026. She was born on December 28, 1985, in Rota, Spain. Krystal made a lasting impression on everyone she met with her vibrant personality, outspoken spirit, and the unmistakable energy that made her the life of any gathering. Above all, Krystal will be remembered as a devoted and nurturing mother whose love and care for others were evident even from a young age.
Krystal was preceded in death by her grandfather, Curtis Wayne Hester; grandmother, Helen (Joseph) Wood; grandfather, Allen Speck; grandmother, Mary Alice Speck; and other beloved family members.
She is survived by her father, Darryl Hester; mother, Susie Hester; brother, Caleb Hester; sister, Rebekah Sue Holland; son, Jacob-Adyen Wayne Boates; daughter, Hazel June Hyatt-Boates; grandmother, Hazel Hester; and many other extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.
Krystal had a beautiful singing voice and a deep love for music. She shared her musical gifts by playing the piano at Christ Community Church in Springfield, Tennessee, offering comfort, joy, and worship through every note.
A committal service will be held on March 10, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CHRIST Family Church. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at CHRIST Family Church.
