Martha Guill (Fuqua) Williams

Born in Wilson county, TN to the late Lawrence and Virginia (Duke) Fuqua, Martha is also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. Williams, Jr.; daughter Beverly Yates; son Ray Williams, Jr.; sister Polly Richards; brothers Morris, Walter, Cliff and Doug Fuqua. She is survived by her son Hugh Williams (Carolyn); grandchildren Jasha Rodriguez (Steve), Brooke McAvoy (Brad), Stacey Barnett (Jon), Victoria Henson, Greg and Daniel Yates; great-grandchildren Ashten Vokovich, Haley and Camden Hargrove, Holly Taylor, Thomas, Tenley and Trit Yates; several nieces, nephews, other beloved extended family and dear friends.

A long-time active member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Martha was devoted to her faith and her family. She was a homemaker and never missed an opportunity to be involved in her children's activities. Martha had a passion for bowling, competing in leagues until the age of 90. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. We will dearly miss Martha and cherish the sweet memories made with her.

A visitation for Martha Williams will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 9am -11am, with a funeral chapel service to begin at 11am and burial to follow, all at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
