Mary Catherine Hutcherson

Mary Catherine Hutcherson, age 90, of Springfield, Tennessee passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. Catherine was born Saturday, November 12, 1932 in Springfield, Tennessee to the late Vernon and Ora Mae (Osborne) Dean, she is also preceded in death by her husband, George Hutcherson; grandson, Brad Hutcherson, sister, Edna Ruth Thompson; brothers, Robert Lee Dean and Bobby Ray Dean.

Catherine was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Greenbrier where she taught Sunday School to young children; she worked in the cafeteria at Springfield High School and she was a Volunteer at Northcrest Medical Center's Grapevine Gift Shop for 23 years donating some 9,344 hours and was known for her sweet smile and warm personality. She was a collector of tea pots, dolls, Ty Beanie Babies and she enjoyed word searches.

Leaving to cherish the memories is her son Steve Hutcherson and his wife, Connie; extended family, special friends, several nieces, nephews and beloved church family. A special "Thank You" to Doug and Kathy Williams, Theo and Jessica Walton, and McKenzie Williams for all your love and support.

Family and friends will gather to remember Catherine at a visitation Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, and Friday, June 9, 2023 from 1:00 until 2:00 at Rock Springs Baptist Church 2511 Rock Springs Road in Greenbrier.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 Friday, June 9, 2023 at Rock Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery.
