WEST, SR., Michael Wayne - Age 63 of Hendersonville, passed away April 11, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by parents, Willie and Molly West; brother, Willie D. West, Jr.; and daughter-in-law, Aly West. Survived by loving wife, Judi West; sons, Mike (Lisa) West, Jr., Ronnie (Jennifer) West, and Terry West; daughter, Gina Burton Hobock; son-in-law, Tommy Burton; 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; 2 sisters, Joyce West and Ruby Pryor. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and proudly served his country in Vietnam. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Forest Lawn Chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 with Rev. Malcolm Patton officiating. Interment to follow with military honors at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends to serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held today from 2-4 p.m., and again from 6-9 p.m. and from 12-2 p.m. on Thursday before the service. His family wanted to share his 2 favorite Bible verses that he carried with him at all times, Psalm 32:8 and Isaiah 40:31.
