Milbrey S. McMahan

Milbrey Orlene Stroud, an only child, was born in Nashville and graduated from Hume-Fogg High School. After graduation, Milbrey took a secretarial course and worked briefly for a printing company. She then went to work for the telephone company, where she was employed for thirty-two years. She was the District Chief Clerk for the District Plant Manager and worked in several different locations.

Milbrey's first husband, John Price, died on their 44th anniversary. She later married Thurston McMahan whom she had known in high school, and was married to him for twenty-two years. Thurston passed away in 2003 after his 93rd birthday.

Milbrey has no children, but feels very blessed to have four nieces and their families and many good friends. Milbrey has been associated with Faith Presbyterian Church since the 1960's.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sterling House - Brookdale for their love and care of Milbrey.

There will be a private family burial at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Memorial Park. The family invites friends to gather with them for a memorial service that will be held in her honor at four o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 372 Caldwell Drive, Goodlettsville, TN, with one hour of visitation prior to the service.
