

Milton Dale Jernigan, a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend died unexpectedly on February 7, 2018. He was born to Junior and Arnell Jernigan on March 7, 1959 in Springfield, Tennessee.
Dale is survived by his wife Suzie, parents Junior and Arnell Jernigan, sisters Debbie (Steve) Crain and Mitzi (Wilburn) Malugen, daughters Elizabeth Jernigan and Ali (Shane) Toll, grandchildren Arianna Jernigan, Tucker Toll, Aiden Jernigan and Adeline Toll, and many friends whom he considered his brothers.
Dale was the friend everyone wanted. He was quick to help whenever there was a need and always good for an enjoyable conversation. Memories of his big smile and joyful laugh will sustain his loved ones in the days to come.
Dale was a master of the lake. His skillful fishing landed him the title of Kentucky Lake’s record crappie catch. His greatest catch however was his loving wife of 18 years, Suzie. He will be missed by all.
The family will welcome friends for visitation to celebrate Dale’s life at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Goodlettsville on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and February 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Rich Powell officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome all to join them in fellowship over lunch to remember Dale at Hillview Baptist Church, 1268 Springfield Highway, in Goodlettsville following the service.
