Mrs. Nona (SALLY) A. Armstrong age 82 of Greenbrier, Tennessee, passed away Sunday June13, 2016, at her residence. She was born February 20, 1934, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Melvin and Aline Harrison Nipper.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan Armstrong, son David Armstrong, brother Kenneth Duncan, and sister Nita Fletcher.
Mrs. Armstrong is survived by her son Steven ( Monte) Armstrong. Daughters Sherri Mori, and Donna Payne. Brother Leroy Nipper, and sister-in-law Evie Duncan. daughter-in -law Linda Armstrong. Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of LIfe Service will be conducted Wednesday June 15, 2016, at elven o'clock in the morning at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J. B. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with the grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight o'clock in the evening at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens.
