Raymond C. Pruitt, - age 90, passed away October 1, 2011. Born Friday, November 26, 1920 in Smith County, Tennessee to the late William and Omega Young Pruitt, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Edna Fay Clegg.
A TVA Lineman for 47 years and a member of IBEW Local 429 for 67 years, he is survived by his wife of 73 years, Edna Bates Pruitt, Goodlettsville, TN; sons Tommie (Eleanor) Pruitt, Montgomery, AL and Michael Pruitt, Nashville, TN; his sister Ailene McCall; brother Alton Pruitt; 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Wednesday with visitation Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Goodlettsville, TN.
