Robert Edward Kemper Springfield, TN age 87, passed away June 6, 2016. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Arlein McMahon Kemper, daughter, Faye (Mart) Nunnelley; grandchildren, Blake and Billy Kemper, Shannon (Andy) Barthlomew, Charlotte (Tony) Guilin; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne and Sam Guilin and Adam Kemper; brother, Jim (Mary) Kemper; sisters, Ruth (Dale) Grandboise and Barbara Anderson; dear friends; Joe and Shirley Perkins.Preceded in death by son, James Kemper; parents, Robert and Zona Kemper; brothers, Elvis, Walter and Paul Kemper; sisters, Lucy Petersen, Margaret Fykes, Margie Covington. Robert is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a retired Iron Worker, a member of Mainstreet Church of Christ, a Mason and a Shiner.A funeral service will be conducted 10 am Friday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5pm until 8pm and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Christ Disaster Relief or the Shriners Children Hospital.
