Roy Lawrence Chamberlain Jr.

Roy Lawrence Chamberlain Jr., age 92, of Cottontown, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Roy was born Monday, August 8, 1932 in Albia, Iowa and is preceded in death by his parents, Roy L. and Agnes Martz Chamberlain and grandson, Reed Chamberlain.

A linograph operator, he is survived by his wife of 74 years, Adelee Chamberlain; sons, Roy I. (Laura) Chamberlain, Lonnie R. (Kay) Chamberlain, Donald E. (Brenda) Chamberlain, Terry L. (Lynette) Chamberlain; sister, Carol Blevins; 11 grandchildren, Barrett (Stacy) Chamberlain, Rachel (Chris) LaRoy, Shelly (Josh) Miller, Amanda (John) Erickson, Heather Bouthot, Melia (Eric) Burrows, Weston (Maddie) Chamberlain, Rex (Natalie) Chamberlain, Reece (Kimber) Chamberlain, Rob (Bayleigh) Chamberlain, Ryne (Ashlan) Chamberlain; 20 great-grandchildren, Alec Chamberlain, Ashton Lee, Reagan LaRoy, Ryland LaRoy, Lydia Miller, Emily Erickson, Caleb Erickson, Karter Bouthot, Ava Burrows, Svea Burrows, Emma Burroughs, Genevieve Burrows, Hudson Chamberlain, Elijah Chamberlain, Austin Chamberlain, Cannon Chamberlain, Ayden Chamberlain, Brodie Chamberlain, Brynn Chamberlain, Andrew Chamberlain.

Mr. Chamberlain enjoyed playing golf, going hot air ballooning, and traveling with his wife visiting the national parks and mountains in their motorhome they were always on the road.

Family and friends will gather to remember Roy at a visitation Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday, July 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Rimmer officiating.

Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
