Sally Hemmingson

Sarah "Sally" Hemmingson, age 83, of Cottontown, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021. Sally was born Friday, January 7, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. and is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Madgelen Caldwell, twin sister, Eva Croteau.

She and her identical twin sister (who was born January 6 just before midnight and Sarah 5 minutes after midnight on the 7th, giving her own birthday) and needless to say, they got into a LOT of twin mischief; their teachers could not tell them apart, so their mother had to go down and sort things out. She grew up with cousins, Ruth, Joan, Peggy, Howard and Franny, they all retired in South Florida.

A wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother that enjoyed dancing, her family, and God, is survived by her husband, Orvin "Gerry" Hemmingson; children, Harry (Dawn) English, Frank (Debbie) English, Dena (Mike) Lively, Maureen (Thomas) Nasse; grandchildren, Brandy Lynne, Brandy Nicole, Christopher, Brent, Kagen, Jesse, Emily, Jacob, Jenna, Patrick, Kyle, Justin, Sean, Stephen, Nicholas, Zachary, Arin, and 30 great-grandchildren

A celebration of life service will be conducted 2:00 Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Father Luke Wilgenbusch Celebrant.

A Gathering of Friends will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1:00 until the service at 2:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 S. Dickerson Pike Goodlettsville, Tennessee
