Mr. Hollis, who served as a chaplain at the Nashville Rescue Mission, was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Hollis, and daughter, Stacy Hollis.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Debra Hollis; mother, Betty Hollis; daughters, Renee (Thomas) Mellett and Kelly Robinson; brother, Sterlin Hollis; grandchildren, Taylor and Carleigh Mellett, and Katy Robinson; and favorite pet, Chrissy.
Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Thursday, December 26, from 10:00 am thru 8:00 pm, and on Friday. December 27, from 10:00 am until service time. A Celebration of Life will begin, at 2:00 pm, in the Chapel of Eastland Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Baggett officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
