Sarah M. Lane, age 88, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015. Born in Nashville, TN Monday, December 13, 1926, she is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Nellie Vaughn McCulley; and her husband Paul Lane, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Patti Lane and husband Jim; Paul Lane, Jr and wife Linda; four grandchildren, Chris Poteete and wife Kim; Mandy Lane and husband Billy, Karen Harris and husband Jonathan, Trish Vaughn and husband Billy; and 6 great-grandchildren, Jordin, Macy and Colin Poteete; Krista, Tricia and Cayden Lane; Myra and Amelia Caffrey.
Mrs. Lane attended Peabody College and worked as an Administrative Assistant for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Veterinarian Services before retirement.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted graveside 12:00 Monday, April 27, 2015 in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens; Jonathan Harris officiating.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mrs. Lane at a visitation Sunday, April 26, 2015 from 2:00 until 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
