Theresa Ann (Siderewicz) White, devoted follower of Christ, beloved wife of Darwin White, and cherished servant in her church community, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024 at her home in White House, Tennessee.
Theresa was born on December 10, 1955 to Edmund and Eva Siderewicz in Omaha, Nebraska. She moved to Wichita, Kansas where she completed middle school and high school. Upon graduation, she took a job at Bede Aircraft Corporation in Newton, KS, where she met her husband, Darwin White.
She brought light into the lives of all who knew her as she devoted herself to sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she knew. She selflessly gave her time and energy as Bible study teacher and mentor to many at Bush Baptist Church in Troy, Alabama for many years, was one of the founding leaders of the Torah Clubs of Troy, and was instrumental in the community food distribution ministry.
Theresa's passion for helping others knew no bounds, inspiring many to follow her compassionate example. Her profound kindness, radiant smile, and infectious laugh remains etched in the memories of family, friends and those blessed to have felt her warmth and experience the love she had for Jesus, and everyone she met along her life's journey.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Darwin, children Lori Bowles, Darla Brooks, Bryan White, Amy Geist, and brother Ed Siderewicz. In addition, Theresa was blessed with ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
