Thomas Darrel Lyle, age 78, of Greenbrier, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home among family on Saturday, March 29, 2025. Preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edward and Jewell Baker Lyle. Survived by his wife Pandora Lyle and sons: Christopher (Janna) Lyle, Chase Lyle, and Robert (Paula) Winfrey; grandchildren Thomas Lyle, David Winfrey, Bobby Winfrey, Gabby Winfrey, and Breanna Winfrey-Belcher.
Darrel was a retired police officer for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. A true outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, wildlife, and all of nature.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, April 4, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2;00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Celebration of life will be held Friday, April 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 S Dickerson Pike, Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Meditation at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
