Victor Curtis McGee

Victor C. McGee of Greenbrier, Tennessee, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, August 4, 2023. He was 64 years old. Born Wednesday, September 17, 1958 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Curtis McGee and Gladys (Prior) Harbin, Victor is also preceded in death by his brother Lynn Bronson McGee.

He is survived by his daughter Charley McGee; grandchildren Prestyn and Jullian; 6 siblings and many nieces, nephews and other beloved extended family and dear friends. Victor was a devoted father who adored his daughter tremendously.

He was a world traveler and worked with the Pipefitter’s Union for many years. Knowledgeable in many areas of expertise, Victor was a man of many talents. He had great taste in music and enjoyed playing guitar. The fascinating stories from his travels, his quick-wit and friendliness assured him to have many life-long friendships. He was a history buff and had strong political views that he was always ready to share. Victor was an honest man, hard-working and had a charitable personality.

His dedication to his family and kindness will be dearly missed, though his memory will forever be in our heart.

Eastland Funeral Home is entrusted with Victor’s wishes for cremation and a Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
