Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ann (Thomas) Crook; his daughter, Penny Crook Reynolds of Littleton, Colorado; sister, Peggy Kujala of Goodspring, TN; as well as other relatives and friends, all of whom he loved dearly.

He was especially honored after receiving his Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from the Cleveland Institute of Electronics. He spent 15 years working for General Electric Nashville Service Center and followed by another 15 years with Metropolitan Davidson County Water Services. Bill found enjoyment in many avenues of life, and he was most comfortable sitting behind a steel guitar entertaining family and friends. Playing country and bluegrass music was his favorite. He was a member of the Nashville Tennessee Steel Guitar Association for many years. Bill was also known for his thoughtfulness as he used his computer skills for preparing memorabilia for those with special occasions.
