

He was one of three children born to the late William E. Hobby and Mary A. Wright (Bruce). Bubba is preceded in death by his father, William E. Hobby, his mother Mary A. Wright, and sister Mary Diane Hobby. He will forever be remembered by his loving sister Lorene Capps and his Aunt Anne Olsen & Minnie Mancha and Uncle Jerry Hobby. He was a devoted Uncle to his two nephews Chris Meadors (Christy) and Jeremy Capps (Melissa), his niece Brittany Capps, his great-nieces Chelsea White (Mitchell), Courtney Meadors, Autumn Capps-Jackman and Bella Capps, his great-nephews Delsin Capps, Christian Meadors, and Jayden Maus, and a great-great niece Paisley along with countless other cousins, family and friends who were blessed to know him.
Bubba was a simple man. He enjoyed watching movies, listening to classic rock, watching CMT and listening to country music, loved watching Nascar Racing & wrestling, driving his classic 1989 Chevrolet pickup, drinking large sweet teas, and watching football. He was known for picking and teasing family to make anyone in his presence laugh.
Bubba touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and sense of humor and will forever be missed. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be on Saturday June 25th, 2021, from 4p-8p and Services to follow on Sunday June 26th, 2021, from 12p -2p at Forest Lawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
