Willis Worley, age 88, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2019. He was born Thursday, April 16, 1931 in Nashville, Tennessee and is preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Ruby Reid Worley; wife, Helen Shearon Worley; sisters, Wilma Mae Worley, Frances Marie Worley; brother, Andrew Davis.
Mr. Worley is a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War, being stationed in Germany; worked for over 37 years for Eli Witt as a salesman of cigars, cigarettes and candy and never smoked; he was a charmer; a FISHERMAN (proud of his catch of a 40 pound Red Snapper) and an extremely sweet man.
Mr. Worley is survived by his nieces Cheryl Sue (Richard) Harris, Louann Brown; nephews, Gary (Christina) Stump, Reid Davis; step-children, Gale Marshall, Diane Wilson, Richard Payne.
A celebration of life will be conducted 11:00 Friday, June 21, 2019 in the chapel at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Tidwell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Worley at a visitation Friday, June 21, 2019 from 9:30 until 11:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, Tennessee
