Claudia Lou Davis, 86, of Avondale, Arizona, passed away in late May of 2026. Claudia’s life was marked by steady devotion, anchored in faith, expressed in love, and carried with quiet strength through every season.
Claudia was preceded in passing by her first husband, Don Erwin Davis. She is survived by her husband, Oscar Bandin Sr., and her niece, Melanie Greschem.
More than anything, Claudia held a deep love and devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She lived by faith, returning to it not only in words, but in the way she ordered her days—reading the Bible, quoting scripture with ease, and worshiping every Sunday. Her faithful spirit may not have been performative or loud; but it was certainly constant, sincere, and deeply personal.
Claudia also poured her heart into Children’s Ministries, giving her time and care in ways that reflected a life devoted to serving others. At home, she found joy in sewing, skillfully making many different garments and keeping three different sewing machines close by—tools of a craft she loved and practiced with patience and purpose.
She and Oscar shared simple, cherished routines, including going out to eat together. At Cracker Barrel, they were such regulars that they wouldn’t even be offered a menu—an ordinary detail that now feels like a tender reminder of the life they built in familiar places, side by side.
Claudia was, in every sense, an incredibly strong woman—steadfast in what she believed, devoted to those she loved, and faithful in the life she lived. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
