Diana graduated from Washington High School and completed one year of college at Pulaski Community College. She tutored kindergarten and first grade students as a volunteer in local schools. She worked tirelessly for Maumelle Friends of Animals by fundraising and working with adoption programs. She also spent a great deal of time helping to care for her nieces and nephews.
Diana is survived by her mother Betty Martinez; her step-father Lewis Kessell ; three sisters, Tammy Martinez, Lisa Martinez and Shaye Maze; and her brother Antonio Martinez. She was preceded in death by her father Antonio Martinez, her sister Tina Shatley and her grandparents. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, October 12, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338.
