Joel Mark Wilson

Joel lived a life filled with music, kindness and an unwavering love for those around him. A gifted musician, his talent touched countless hearts and his presence lit up every room he entered. He shared his gifts not only through music but also through his generous spirit. He was always ready with a warm smile, a word of encouragement or a helping hand.

He was a devoted husband who cherished his marriage and partnership. He was a caring stepfather who embraced his role with love and pride. Joel was deeply connected to his family. His role as a son, brother and uncle brought him great joy. His friends knew him as someone they could always rely on.

Joel is survived by his wife Andrea Wilson, his mother Dell Wilson, his brothers Russ and Bob Wilson, his nephews Jonathan and Mark Wilson, his niece Lindsey Wilson, his stepsons Zachary and Joshua Ely and his grandchildren Richard, Andrew and Mikalah Ely.

Joel's memory will forever live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His life was a melody that will continue to play in the minds and hearts of all who were fortunate to share in his journey.

A Celebration of Joel's incredible life will be held on Saturday, October 25th, 2025 beginning at 10 AM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, AZ. Friends and family will gather to share stories, music and memories in his honor. A luncheon and party will be held at the Wilson house following his service.
