Leonor Esther Gonzalez-Guerrero

Leonor was born on December 8, 1993, in Fresno, California, to her parents, Enriqueta Guerrero and Jose Luis Gonzales. She was a radiant, fun-loving, and adventurous soul who found joy in simply being with her family and spending time outdoors. She had a natural ability to connect with others—her warmth, kindness, and incredible sense of humor allowed her to get along with anyone she met. She truly loved life and lived it with energy and heart.

At family gatherings, Leonor was always laughing and making others laugh. She was quick with her jokes, often playfully teasing her uncles. Even as her illness began to take hold, it never stopped her from bringing joy to those around her. Her laughter remained a constant gift to her loved ones.

Leonor recently achieved an important milestone by completing cosmetology school, pursuing her passion for hair with excitement and determination, even in the face of hardship. She had many dreams for her future alongside her husband and children, always striving to build a life filled with love, opportunity, and happiness.

Above all, Leonor was a devoted mother. She is survived by her beloved children, Alison, 11, and Alejandro, 2, who were the center of her world. As a wife, she was a constant source of support and love to her husband, Alejandro Gonzales Bailon, with whom she shared a strong and meaningful bond. She also shared a close relationship with her in-laws, who cherished her deeply.

Leonor was a loving and dedicated daughter, always there for her parents whenever they needed her, no matter how big or small the request. She is also survived by her parents, her three brothers, and many extended family members and friends who loved her deeply.

Leonor will be remembered for her laughter, her adventurous spirit, and the love she gave so freely. In her final days, she made every effort to remain present at family gatherings, quietly carrying her pain so as not to worry those she loved. She was a true warrior until the very end.

To know her was to love her. She leaves behind memories that will be cherished forever. Though her light has gone out, her brilliance will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her.

A Vigil will be held on May 14, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass service will take place on May 15, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at a later date.

Por encima de todo, Leonor fue una madre devota. Le sobreviven sus amados hijos, Alison, de 11 años, y Alejandro, de 2, quienes eran el centro de su mundo. Como esposa, fue una fuente constante de apoyo y amor para su esposo, Alejandro Gonzales Bailon, con quien compartía un unión fuerte y significativo. También mantenía una relación muy cercana con sus suegros, quienes la querían profundamente.

Leonor fue una hija amorosa y dedicada, siempre presente para sus padres cuando la necesitaban, sin importar lo grande o pequeño que fuera. También le sobreviven sus padres, sus tres hermanos, así como muchos familiares y amigos que la amaron profundamente.

Leonor será recordada por su risa, su espíritu aventurero y el amor que brindaba con tanta generosidad. En sus últimos días, hizo todo lo posible por mantenerse presente en las reuniones familiares, llevando su dolor en silencio para no preocupar a quienes amaba. Fue una verdadera guerrera hasta el final.

Conocerla era amarla. Deja recuerdos que serán atesorados para siempre. Aunque su luz se ha apagado, su brillo continuará viviendo en el corazón de todos los que la conocieron.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio el 14 de mayo de 2026, de 4:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m. Una misa se celebrará el 15 de mayo de 2026 a la 1:00 p.m. El sepelio se realizará en una fecha posterior.
