Lora Ann Valencia

Lora Ann Valencia sadly passed away on November 18th, 2024 at the age of 57. Lora was born on November 16th, 1967 in Springerville, Arizona to Boudy Peña and Yolanda Martinez. Lora spent most of her youth in St. Johns, Arizona with siblings Mina, Maria, and Genevieve, before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in the 80s. Lora finished high school at Tolleson High School, graduating in1985.

In 1984, Lora was introduced to George, and within 9 months they were both married on April 13th, 1985. Together they raised three children, Martin, Bryant and Marissa in Glendale, AZ before moving to Avondale, AZ in 2000.

Lora was an extremely hard worker and had a dedicated passion for fitness, health, and wellness. Lora enjoyed listening and dancing to Country and Mexican music. She loved cooking for friends and family, sharing some of her best dishes. Lora and George loved to travel to Cancun, Mexico to celebrate their anniversaries, and had recently celebrated their 39th anniversary. Lora especially loved to spend time with her three grandchildren, Mia, David III and Emma.

Lora was so loving, caring, and giving. Anyone that knew her, felt that energy, always. Lora was a beloved wife, mother, nana and friend. Her beautiful spirit will be greatly missed. Although Lora is no longer with us, her memory will live on in our hearts forever.

A memorial service for Lora will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd., Goodyear, Arizona 85338, Along with a Service officiated by Deacon Jim Cascio at 10:30 am.
