Norma Rose Courtney of Glendale, Arizona passed away on May 15, 2024 at the age of 88. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 30, 1935 to the late Leo and Anne Bischof. She later moved to Delavan, Wisconsin and married Gordon Courtney on August 11, 1956. They were married 68 years. Gordon preceded her in death on December 8, 2020.
Norma was an LPN Nurse in Burlington Hospital in 1975. She was a nurse for 45 years. Norma was involved with the Lake Geneva Women’s Club and also the Jsets Club. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a friend to all.
Surviving are her three children, Cathy Wittig, Allen Courtney and Patty Wulfers; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, C.C. Wittig.
Burial will take place at 9:30am, Monday, June 10, 2024 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
