Theresa Marie Finnegan of Goodyear, Arizona passed away June 17, 2024 at the age of 72. She was born September 15, 1951 in Round Lake, Illinois to the late William and Jean Eaton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Finnegan, brother Billy Eaton, and sister Sharon J. Behr.
Theresa Finnegan spent her working years serving others in the retail customer service industry, alongside her heartfelt volunteer work with hospice. A true empath, she pursued the path of a Reiki Master, channeling her caring soul into healing practices that prioritized the well-being of others over her own. Theresa was a passionate advocate for holistic energy and healing, believing in the power of positive energy to uplift and heal.
She found joy in her routine at Breakthrough, cherishing the friendships she formed with fellow gym enthusiasts. Music, especially the timeless melodies of Heart from the 1980s, filled her heart with nostalgia. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of romantic comedies and the serenity of cruise ship travels during her leisure time.
On December 10, 1988, Theresa married Charles Finnegan, and their love endured until his peaceful passing on May 28, 2022. While we take solace in their reunion, Theresa's passing marks the closing of a cherished chapter in our family's story. Her legacy of kindness, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to healing others will forever be remembered with deep admiration and gratitude.
Theresa Finnegan's life was a testament to love, compassion, and the profound impact one person can have on those around them.
