Albert “Al” Dale Pipkin, 70, of Zellwood, FL went to be with the Lord on Monday July 31st in Apopka, FL. Born August 2, 1946 to Albert and Christabel (Dixon) Pipkin in New Bern, NC; the oldest of five children
Al is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Sandy, two daughters Toni Carroll & Cindy Barnes and son in law Mike Carroll; three grandchildren, Glenda Sloan, Matthew Carroll and Taylor Barnes; three great-grandchildren Derrick Sloan, Dani Sloan and Mikah Carroll; Brother John Pipkin and sister Vicky Wilson. Al is proceeded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth Pipkin and sister Mary Thurmond.
Al was a strong, genuine man who lived life to the fullest. He cherished his family, enjoyed traveling, and loved hunting and fishing. Al left his family with wonderful memories that will stay with them forever.
Al's favorite charities were Alzheimer's Association, American Diabetes Association and St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.
