He was born in Timothy,Tennesee on September 2, 1931. His family moved to Crossville, Tn. When he was still young.
His family was tillers of the earth
He had eleven brothers and sisters, seven of them have survived him. John Eldridge of Crossville, Tn, Wilkie Cole of Crossville, Tn., Bill Eldridge of Indiana, Mitch Eldridge of Crossville, Tn.,Lois White of Ohio, Glinda Sue Clouse of Crossville, Tn., and Morene Randol of Crossville, Tn.
He was also survived by his daughter, Laura Foss of Orlando, Fl. His son, James L. Franklin of Clearwater, Fl. Six grandchildren, thirteen great-grand children and eight great-great-grandchildren
He was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Sarah Elizabeth Eldridge, devoted daughter, Patricia Delane Harris, Brothers, Robert, Ed, Paul, Howard and one sister, Elna.
Services will be held at Conway First Baptist Church, where he was a member, on Monday, November, 5Th, 2012 at 11:00 A.M.
Services will also be held at: Bethlehem Baptist Church, Potato Farm Rd. Crossville Tn. On November 8th. 2012 at 6:00 P. M..
