Barbara Ann King

She was born in Grove City, PA on January 17, 1935. She graduated from Grove City High School. She married James King on September 3, 1964 and was a homemaker with a career in childcare. She had a passion for family, church, and crafting.

She was survived by her children: Debbie (Jerry) Wall, Karen (Robert) Claar; her grandchildren: Justin King (Pam), Ashley (Brandon) Shepherd, Tessa Hanafi, Brianna Claar; her great grandchildren: Xavier Shepherd, Jayden King, Olivia Shepherd, Jordan King, Aliyah Shepherd, Zachary Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband James King, mother Janice Sidley, father Paul Sidley, and grandson Zachary Thomas.

Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Her children, grandchildren, and grat-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Barbara’s kind spirit, passion and zest for life will live on through them. She was loved and adored not only by her family but by many others that knew her as well. A woman of faith that will preach the word of God and sing his glorious songs. Brabara has an indomitable spirit that will live on through her family and dearest friends. She will be remembered as a gentle soul and loved forever.

A funeral service for Barbara will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734. Following the funeral service will be a graveside committal from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, Florida 34734.
