Billy was a faithful friend, diligent businessman, and always remembered another's needs. His kindness remained even through the very end. Rest peacefully friend!

Mr. Brown, it was indeed a true honor to have met such a special man.  From the little time I knew you, I could feel your true love for your wife and family.  You were indeed the true meaning of a gentlemen.  May there be more Mr. Brown's in everyone's life.  You will be missed by all.

We were all blessed to have Bill in our lives. He was an old-fashioned, good man, in every way, a true gentleman.  We sure will miss talking to him and hearing his great jokes. We loved him, and he loved all of us. God be with us all.

My beloved father, I deeply miss you and our daily calls. I still pick up the phone to see if it's time for you to call. I'll never forget the jokes, the famous stories, and the advice; in which I hope to follow. I know you're with our precious Alecia, and our other loved ones who have passed. So, I will shed no more tears, just praise that you're no longer suffering, and praise for my beloved mother who has had such strength and devotion through it all. Pap,  It is with the heaviest of hearts I write this, you are an amazing Man. For years and years you served as a mentor, and friend. The one I could always turn to for advise and always having the answers. Never judging, just being there in the supportive way only you knew how to do. I will so miss being able to sit and visit with you for hours, or pick the phone up to hear the oh so many stories you loved to tell. As I pass those same stories on to my friends, it is you I think about, and I am forever grateful to have had you in my life. You were my Father figure for all the years we spent. Thank you for wanting and allowing me to be there with you during those last and hardest times. I will miss you more than any words could ever express. Thank You for all the things you are to me, because you still are with me. I Love You brother.

I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Angie, I cherish my memories of your family and know that Bill is now with his precious daughter. May your loving memories of him comfort you at this time.

One of the highlights of our family gatherings was the chance to sit next to Uncle Bill and listen to the stories and jokes he would tell. He had a way making everyone feel special. He was gracious, kind, humble, wise, and funny. He was a quiet, thoughtful man but when he talked you wanted to listen!! I agree with you Marissa. He was truly one of a kind and the world will be a lesser place without him. Nicole, you are so right, it wasn't just the story it was the way he told it. He had a gift for captivating the audience and finding humor in everyday things. Rest in peace and joy Uncle Bill! We will see you again one day. My Uncle Bill,
    He held me when I was born.I have had the honor and privilege of carrying his name for 60 years. I was so lucky to have him in my life, ever positive, ever helpful and always expressing love and kindness to all.I learned so much just listening and watching him be who he was. He was a man's man. I will miss him until I see him again.
     My daughter Erin will forever call him Uncle Pig in the Pen. He would bounce her on his knee and sing" I've got a pig in pen at home and no one to feed her when I'm gone".
   Aunt Angie, Vanessa, Nicole, Marissa and Kristen, my deepest sympathies on your loss of such a wonderful man. You and I will miss him all the days of our lives.

I want to extend my deepest most heartfelt sympathy to Aunt Angie and all of the family at this most difficult time.
Uncle Bill was one in a million.  
He came into my life early on when he lived with my Mother and Dad.  They both adored him and he always told us stories of how much Drinda and I bothered him asking him questions all the time like "Where did the lights go when they went out?"  
He was always such a strength to all of us throughout our life especially when we lost Mom and Dad.  Aunt Angie was the same.
May he rest in peace now and not have anymore difficulty breathing.

Togetherness
Death is nothing at all.  I have only slipped away into the next room. Whatever we were to each other, we still are.  Call me by my old familiar name.  Speak to me in the same easy way you always have.  Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together.  Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.  Life means all that it ever meant.  It is the same as it always was.  There is absolute unbroken continuity.  Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight? I am but waiting for you for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.  All is well.  Nothing is past.  Nothing has been lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before--only better.  Infinitely happier.  We will be one together forever.  Love Always, Susan

Uncle Bill was a special man.  He was always smiling and he just loved to be around people, especially his family.  He was a loving and generous soul and was always trying to please others.  When we would visit he would always go out of his way to make sure our visit was enjoyable.  

I hadn't seen Uncle Bill and Aunt Angie for quite a few years but time and distance doesn't change your love for a person.  I always remember to pray for them.  I just pray that Uncle Bill is happy and rejoicing now with Alisha, telling those stories to all those around him.  I'm  sure my mom Juanita and dad Jamup Miller are there listening and laughing with all the rest of his friends and family that have gone on before

I send my Love and Prayers to all of his family.

Bill, you were the best neighbor anyone could have! I really enjoyed hearing your stories and you were always there when I needed you. Eric and I will miss you very much, and will never forget you.

Our "Pap" was truly one of a kind, they just don't make 'em like him anymore. Our family will never be the same without his immense wisdom, compassion, and self-less generosity. He taught us to always be brave and strong and have the courage to move forward. His stories were always my favorite, you could sit for hours and listen but never hear the same one twice. What I wouldn't give now for another story... To say he will be missed by his girls is such an understatement. I can't begin to explain the special place in my heart he holds, and I am so grateful for the 25 years I spent with him. I only wish I could have a lifetime more. Pap, we are lost without you. I love you more than words can say. I can smile knowing everytime I feel the sun on my face you and Mom are looking down. We miss you. -Maris

They just don't make them like Pap anymore. I could tell a few of his stories for a smile and a chuckle but I couldn't even begin to hold a candle to Pap's way of telling a good story. He had all the wit in the world and his honesty and kindness were second to none. He has inspired me so much and in so many ways throughout life. I'm sure all of you that love him can say the same. I'm so honored to have had this extraordinary man in my life, along with my strong Meemaw. Pap and Meemaw have taken care of all of their girls and have been so wonderful to us, through thick and thin with an arsenal of love and patience. A family couldn't ask for anything greater. Pap was never one to backdown or surrender. He taught me how to bust a cap, amongst many other wonderful things. 
Pap, I love you doe much. Rest assure that every time I see a "dog with a big old stick on his head" I will always smile and be thinking of you. I'm sure going to miss your stories and your warm smiling face. Heartbreaking you're gone. Nicole

Billy Brown (Pappy) was the best husband,dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend that anyone could possibly ask for. The most giving, generous, helpful, loving man I could ever imagine being my grandfather. Pappy was given two daughters, 3 granddaughters, and 4 great-granddaughters. He was the voice of reason for the group of women that surrounded him. We are who we are, because of him. He worked hard for his family, and wanted nothing more for all of us to be happy. His story telling is what I will miss the most. The man remembered everything that had ever happened in his life, and could keep us occupied for hours with his tales. I love you more than I'll ever be able to express, Pap. Squeeze Leesha for all of us.

Uncle Bill Brown was a blessing to those who had the honor to know and love him, those lucky enough to be a part of his life.  

He was a true family man and a great family historian.  He was always ready with  interesting stories and loved to make folks laugh. 

You knew he loved you, because he loved unconditionally.  

We will miss him with all of our hearts.
