Billy Parks Outen

Master Sergeant Billy Parks Outen age 83, whom resided at 3008 Woodbridge Lane, Orlando, FL 32808; passed away on Thursday December 14, 2017 at his home. He was born on December 5, 1934 in Monroe, North Carolina. His parents were Simon “Durant” Outen and Ellie M. Outen. Billy graduated from Indian Trail High School in Monroe, North Carolina in 1952 and went on to join the United States Air Force where he became Master Sergeant Billy Parks Outen and retired with honors in 1974. He joined the Orange Primitive Baptist Church in 1959, he served over 50 years as a Deacon in his church. Survived by his devoted wife of 27 years Mary Ellen Outen, his 1 Loving Daughter: Cindy Gala, his 2 Attentive Loving Step Daughters: Sharon Waldrop and husband Eric, and Gina Ray, his 3 Adored Grandchildren: Nicole Hink and husband Korry, Shane Ray, and Lauren Ray, his Little joy of Sunshine Great-grandchild: Kole Hink, his Thoughtful, caring, and loving Sister: Alene Funderburk, and many wonderful nieces and nephews in North Carolina.

Predeceased by; his loving warm-hearted wife of 34 years Nell Outen, Sisters: Beloved Annie O. Keziah, Ruby Kaziah, Mary Braswell, Lena Taylor, Mattie Baucom, Letha Baucom, and Betty Payne, Brothers: Beloved S.D. Outen, Lloyd Outen, Otto Outen, Edmind Outen, Lee Griffin, and Wilson Griffin.

Service: The Graveside service will be held Monday, December 18, 2017

at 2pm. Woodlawn Cememtery. (400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd.

Gotha, Florida)

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 2pm

until 5pm at Woodlawn Cemetery Funeral Home.

Billy was an extraordinary man. He was a devoted husband a caring father and a

wonderful grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a big heart, loved the church, and

was always their to help someone who was in need. Billy was so dear to so many he will

truly be missed. Thank you GOD and may you BLESS and TAKE CARE of the one we

all came to LOVE so much. May you REST IN PEACE, BILLY OUTEN, AMEN!!
