

He was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on August 4, 1931.
Bart graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy and from University of Maryland School of Medicine with a Doctorate in Medicine.
He was married to Jean D. Galloway (nee Blickenstaff) on December 18, 1952.
Bart enjoyed a career in medicine as a general surgeon in private practice in Baltimore, and then as a Medical Director for AT&T in Baltimore and in Orlando, Florida. After he retired from AT&T in 1996, he was an Adjunct Professor at Valencia Community College, where he taught courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, and various other subjects in Biological Sciences until 2019.
He was an avid tennis player for more than 40 years and had passions for crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and sports, especially baseball and football.
Bart is survived by his son, Stephen T. Galloway, and daughter, Lori G. Chambers; granddaughter, Stephanie C. Galloway.
A memorial service for Bart will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM at Church of the Messiah, 241 N. Main Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Following the memorial service will be a committal service at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
