Christine N. Jones

Christine Jones, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2018 surrounded by her family from the comfort of her home. Christine will be lovingly held in the heart of her husband James H. Jones, Sr. (Jimmy) and their children; Patricia (Patti) June Jones, Martha (Darlene) Jones, Donald (Donnie) Leroy Jones (deceased), James Harris (Chuck) Jones Jr., Timothy (Tim) Allyn Jones & his wife Danese Jones, her grandchildren; Darsha M. Pentifallo, Sheryl Nicole (Nici) Jones, Christine (Chrissi) J. Jones-Herron, Danny Hicks, James J. (JJ) Couey, Anthony Nix, Christopher Nix, and her surviving sister Barbara Ausburn.

Christine was born in Caraway, Arkansas to Elton & Eliza Cox Wilson on April 30, 1929. She married the love of her life, “her man” Jimmy Jones on April 29, 1948 and they were married for 69 amazing years. From the time she was baptized there at the age of 13, she remained a faithful member of “The Church on the Drive” formerly; College Park Baptist Church. Christine touched so many lives, more than anyone ever witnessed. She was an LPN in the ICU and went on to work in ER. She was an angel here on earth, long before she joined the heavenly host.

A visitation in memory of Christine will be held on Saturday, March 31, at 1:00 pm., with a funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. The location is Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, Florida 34734.
