He was born in Washington, D.C. on September 24, 1967.
Chris graduated from Fairfax HIgh School in 1986. He received an Associates Degree from Germanna Community College in Locust Grove, Virginia. He continued his education at MId-Atlantic Technical Institute studying Commercial Foods and Culinary Arts.
Chris worked in the food service industry at Orlando International Airport at various restaurants, and most recently at The Father’s Table.
Chris had a passion for animals- dogs, cats, birds, fish, and it all started with Guinea Pigs!. He was an avid sports fan, especially hockey. Home brewing was a hobby he pursued for years.
He was preceded in death by his father,( Billy Mack), his mother (Minnie). He was survived by three sisters; Ann Flaniken (Chris Cohl), Jane Flaniken, Leigh Cartolaro (Mike), a niece, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
We will miss that cute, little blonde boy.
A funeral service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd., Gotha, FL 34734, at 1:00 with visitation from 12:00-1:00 before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local SPCA or to the American Diabetes Association.
