Clara Lee Johnson

Clara Lee Johnson died on July 24, 2020. She was born in Reidsville, Georgia on December 16, 1935. She moved to Orlando in 1952. She married Obie Johnson in 1954 and they were married for over 56 years. She was a homemaker and then worked at Hartford Connecticut and CNA Insurance as an underwriter. Clara and Obie were avid members of First Baptist Church of Pine Castle and Clara was a Sunday school teacher for many years. Clara enjoyed painting with Bob Ross and drawing portraits of family. Some of her other hobbies were quilting and crocheting. Clara had two children and one step son. Michael Johnson in Alma, Georgia and Debra Dyer (Hal) in Tavares, Florida and Ronald Johnson, (Rahaye) in Mount Plymouth, Florida. Clara has seven grandchildren, Kristin Collazo and Katherine Dyer (Debra), Roxanne Johnson (Michael), step children Sherin Paice and Erin Kelly (Michael), and Belinda and Suji Johnson, (Ronald). Clara had two great grandchildren. Keiyani Collazo and Braelyn Collazo (Kristin). Services will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Gotha, Florida with viewing on Wednesday, July 29 from 5-7pm, and a graveside service on Thursday, July 30 at 10am.
