

Clarice V. Wilson passed away at her home in Orlando, Florida on Monday, April 8, 2013. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies to the late Ernest and Ethel (Lewis) Carter. Clarice migrated to the U.S. in 1963. Mrs. Wilson worked for Pepperidge Farm in Norwalk, CT as an account specialist. She was a member of St. Paul’s on the Green Episcopal Church and sang in the choir and belonged to the Vestry. Clarice retired to Orlando in 1990 and transferred her church membership to Church of the Holy Family where she also took a seat in the choir, the Vestry and E.C.W. Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her beloved husband Sylvester Wilson, Jr. and her ten siblings. Survivors include her 3 daughters, Elaine Ganat, Jean Martin and Chyrell (Derek) Ross; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way! The family will receive friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home, Friday, April 12, 2013 from 2-4 pm and Saturday, April 13, 2013 from 1-1:45 pm at Church of the Holy Family, 1010 N. Hiawassee Road, Orlando, Florida 32818. Funeral Service will begin at 2 pm with Fr. Peter Magill officiating. Clarice was a very colorful person and the family request friends wear their most beautifully colored attire in her honor.
